The Batavia Public Library has an opening for a Circulation Clerk. We are seeking energetic individuals who possesses a keen eye for detail and enjoy creating an organized environment.
Circulation Clerks assist patrons with all circulation issues, including materials check in and checkout, respond to questions, accept payments made on patron accounts, process patron holds, evaluate condition of materials, route materials to the appropriate places, refer patrons to other departments as appropriate, assist fellow staff members as needed, answer the library telephone, solve problems, perform shelf checks, help to maintain the physical collection (shelving, shelf-reading, etc.), and handle other duties as assigned.
Required: Computer experience and high school diploma. Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, and push carts filled with books. Attention to detail is a must.
Preferred: College degree or some college coursework. Experience with Sirsi Dynix Workflows is a plus.

Saturday – 8:45 – 1:00 PM
