Duties include working at the Reference Desk to provide ready reference, research, readers' advisory and computer assistance. The candidate will create eye-catching displays and will be assigned other projects. This candidate will also regularly make sure the library closes securely and act as Person -in- Charge as necessary. The position includes one night a week as well as every Saturday morning.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or LTA required; minimum 1 year customer service experience; public library experience within SWAN preferred; knowledge of print, non-print, and electronic resources and services; must be proficient with Microsoft Office, email and social networking tools; able to work with a diverse patron base.
