Homelessness Training for Library Workers

This workshop addresses "Empathy-Driven Enforcement," a system for getting people to follow the rules without threats or punishment. It is effective on all types of people, but is especially important for working with homeless individuals. Presenter Ryan Dowd is the Executive Director of Hesed House, one of Illinois' largest homeless shelters. Dowd has conducted this training for thousands of individuals across the U.S.
