We are a group of outreach specialists, librarians, managers, and support staff dedicated to bringing outreach services to meet the unique needs of each of our libraries populations. We meet to share programming ideas, marketing tips, and ways to partner with community organizations. We promote and advocate for outreach as an essential library service. Whether you use a bookmobile, library van, or your personal car to reach your patrons, this group has something of interest to anyone working in outreach.
Meetings are held on Fridays from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, approximately quarterly at different area libraries/locations in the Midwest Illinois area. Dates & locations for 2018:
February 16th: St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. 6th Ave., St. Charles, IL 630-584-0076 (David Kelsey, firstname.lastname@example.org)
