The Hometown Public Library board and staff would like to take this opportunity to thank head librarian, Annette Selmeister, for her years of dedicated service and wish her well in retirement.

Annette has worked at the library since 1993 performing all required functions to keep things running smoothly and provide our patrons with quality reading material and resources.

Over the years, along with various co-workers, Annette has overseen many changes and implemented the necessary updates to keep our library current as well as a comfortable place to visit while browsing the shelves. We applaud your efforts, Annette.

In retirement, Annette plans to "downsize" to an apartment in Indiana nearer her daughter, Jackie and son-in-law John. There she will enjoy the closer company of family, freedom of house and library job responsibilities allowing her more time to relax and READ!

Good luck, blessings, health and happiness are wished for you Annette as you begin the "next chapter" of your life.
