Disappeared: Chicago's Lost Lesbian Bars - Virtual Film Screening and Panel

Gerber/Hart is excited to announce a screening of a short documentary film by Jacob Pieczynski, Disappeared: Chicago's Lost Lesbian Bars on Saturday, April 3rd at 1 PM Central.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion about the lesbian bar scene in Chicago in the 1970s and 80s with Pat McCombs, Carla Harrigan, and filmmaker Jake Pieczynski, moderated by Ruby Western, curator of the 2017 exhibit, Lost & Found: An Exhibit Exploring Chicago's Dyke Spaces of the '70s and '80s.

This event is connected to Gerber/Hart's 2019 exhibit co-sponsored by the Chicago Women's History Center, Lavender Women & Killer Dykes: Lesbians, Feminism, and Community in Chicago.
