"I believe that libraries play an important role in a community. They are free and open to all. They provide access to technology and learning opportunities. They allow expansion and realization of thoughts, ideas and dreams. The only constant in libraries is change. We change with time, technology, media formats and public demands. But what always remains the same is staff commitment to provide the best service possible and the ability to produce unbiased information for all individuals to make up their own minds."

The Oak Lawn Public Library warmly welcomes Carol Williams!
