StoryTime Broadcast on WGEN-FM Read by Peotone Library Trustee

The sun is shining outside and after the winter we just experienced it makes you think spring cannot be far behind. In Libraryland, that means Summer Reading Programs are just around the corner. This year's theme at Peotone Public Library District is "Treasure our Library". What kind of treasure can there be at the Library? Well, you will find out this summer. In the meantime, we are experiencing a little known treasure right now. We were fortunate to have been asked by WGEN-FM radio to stream classic storytimes during the week. Miss Karen, our own Karen LeClaire, has been recording stories that stream on www.wgenradio.org Mondays through Fridays two times daily – 4:00-5:00pm and again 7:00-8:00 pm. So gather the kids to listen while you prepare dinner, read a book, or just relax and let Miss Karen tell them a story. You can contact the Library for more information at 708-258-3436.
