Libraries as Early Intervention Screening Sites - Library Early Literacy Advocates January Meeting

Is your library looking for ways to reach families with children that may be at risk developmentally during the first 5 years of life? One way is to become an early intervention screening site.

Melissa Carnes, Parent Liaison and Local Interagency Council Coordinator from Child and Family Connections at the Lake County Health Department, will speak at the January 17th LELA meeting to explain what early intervention screenings are and how public libraries can offer this service.
