JOLIET –Over 15 boxes of winter clothing and art supplies were collected and delivered to the Spanish Community Center (SCC) in Joliet thanks to the 3rd Annual Giving Tree Drive at the Joliet Public Library. Donations were collected at the library in November and December.
Donated items ranged from winter scarves, mittens, hats, ear muffs and sweaters to art supplies like crayons, cotton balls, and glue sticks. All of the items requested benefit children who receive services at the SCC.
