FDR at Freeport Public Library for Fireside Chat

On Monday, November 20, 2017, Freeport Public Library hosted the 32nd President, Franklin D. Roosevelt, for a Fireside Chat. 115 people turned out for the presentation. Our speaker for the evening was R.J. Lindsey, who has created 24 historical programs for libraries, schools, museums, retirement communities and special events throughout the United States. The Roosevelt portrayal has been presented at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., Winston Churchill's Underground War Cabinet Rooms in London, and the Democratic National Convention in 1996. Mr. Lindsey is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and Actor's Equity. This is the fourth time he has performed at the Freeport Public Library, and I highly recommend him to any group.
