Lake Villa's Tegan Anclade to serve on 2019 Lincoln Committee

Tegan Anclade, Lake Villa District Library Youth Services Reference Clerk, has been appointed to serve a three year term on the prestigious and influential Illinois School Library Media Association's 2019 Lincoln Awards Nominations Committee.

The Lincoln Award, also known as the Illinois Teen Choice Award, is given to the book that receives the highest number of votes from high school students. As a member of the Nominations Committee, Anclade will vet nominated titles and recommend which books should be on the master list from which students will vote.

Anclade holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Religious Studies from Youngstown College. She is currently working toward a Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of Illinois at Champaign where she was recently awarded the Anna Mae Koval Scholarship for MS/LIS students who have a research interest in youth services and literature.
