The Princeton Public Library is starting 2017 with a new campaign to increase usage of the library and improve awareness of the services it offers. The first step in this endeavor is a billboard on Main Street in Princeton. Library staff and board members worked with local graphic designer, Charles Major for the design. The new ad is meant to convey the up-to-date features of the library, including free wifi, high speed public access computers, and CD and DVD collection through the popularity of emojis. People can connect within the community and outside the community through digital information, databases and social networking sites. According to the director, "the library wants to be instrumental in providing people a mode of communicating and sharing ideas in whatever medium works best for them. Plus, we have a great cafe!"
