JOLIET –The Joliet Public Library is hosting our second annual Giving Tree this holiday season. The library will be collecting donations for the Will County Center for Community Concerns (WCCCC). The library and WCCCC partner together throughout the year to provide opportunities to low-income individuals and families to guide them on their way to self-sufficiency.
Patrons wishing to get involved can visit the Ottawa Street Branch or the Black Road Branch to pick an ornament from the giving tree. Choose as many ornaments as you would like, and return new and unused items to the library before December 31. Each ornament will have an item of need for WCCC's programs and clients.
WCCCC provides services such as housing counseling, employment support, and emergency assistance to the residents of Will County. WCCCC is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to addressing the needs in the community. Visit http://www.wcccc.net/ for more information.
The Joliet Public Library is committed to being a resource for patrons of the surrounding community to read, explore, ask and discover.
