Listing Your Group's Events on the L2 Calendar

Coordinators/administrators of RAILS member networking groups may add your continuing education events or meetings to the calendar on the Library Directory & Learning Calendar (L2) website. To get set up with the proper permissions as a group administrator in L2, please submit a request on the L2 Help page (fill out the form under Contact the L2 Help Desk).

Your group will also need to be listed in the RAILS Networking Groups Directory.

To be publicly listed in L2, your event must be open to employees of all RAILS member libraries, though the organizing group may charge a fee. You also have the option of limiting events to be viewable only by members of your group. This would require that each individual member of your group has their affiliation with the group reflected in their L2 profile. See the documentation about managing groups and adding events available on the L2 Help page.

We're not able to make meeting arrangements for events held at member libraries or other sites not operated by RAILS. If your event is not virtual, be sure to secure your event's location before listing it in L2.

If you will be requesting a RAILS meeting room for your event, please read about the use of our facilities before creating your event on L2.
