Then come work for our Youth Services team at the Lansing Public Library! We are searching for a Preschool Liaison that has the qualities of creativity, passion, empathy and compassion for children ages 0-5 in our community.
The responsibilities include time at the youth service desk, planning and conducting programs, and outreach to our local daycares and preschools. You will also be part of a larger organization whose mission is to foster literacy and be the cultural hub of the community. Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum of two years in an adolescent related degree program from an accredited college.
1 year library experience including public desk and storytime experience.
Experience with an automated ILS preferably SirsiDynix.
Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Must work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Background check required.
