The Glen Ellyn Public Library is seeking a friendly, energetic and motivated person with good communication skills to lead an experienced and busy Adult Services department. Responsibilities include supervising the services provided at the 2nd floor Information Desk, administering the adult services budget, overseeing the selection of materials - both print and electronic, supervising computer instruction and library programming for adults, hiring and scheduling staff within the department, participating as a member of the management team to develop long range plans and representing the department in library-wide decision making.

Position requires an MLS from an ALA accredited program, a minimum of five years of professional experience in reference and reader's advisory work in direct contact with the public, including two years at a supervisory level.
