The Coordinator of Cataloging & Acquisitions is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Technical Services Department and staff. The ideal candidate is one who enjoys working as a team with the library staff to catalog new materials and to assist in coordinating efforts with our computer consortium in NE Illinois - SWAN.
The Messenger Public Library of Illinois is an EEO employer. Education and Experience: • LTA Certification is required; College degree is also preferred. • At least 2 or more years of public library copy cataloging experience is required. • Knowledge of MARC format and RDA standards for typical library materials.
