Do you have a passion for library programming? Green Hills Public Library District is seeking a creative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic librarian to join the Youth Services Department and contribute to creating positive library experiences for community members.
The main focus of this position is to coordinate and implement programs for children, teens, and families. Our ideal candidate will be able to develop original and engaging programs, work in a team environment to share program execution, and connect with outside presenters in order to meet the recreational and educational needs of children and teens.
In addition to programming efforts, this position also includes participating in collection development, outreach, marketing, professional development, and working on the Youth Services Desk. This position reports to the Head of Youth Services.

• Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program. Consideration will also be given to students with this degree in progress.
• Minimum two years of experience in a library; public library experience with programming preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience working with youth.
• Valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, and access to a vehicle to be used for Library business.
