Full Time or Part Time: 
Full Time
Monday through Friday 9-5:30 pm. Occasional evenings and weekends.
Starting rate: $23.48-$29.35. Offers are made based on skills and experience.

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as our safety supervisor. The person is responsible for creating a safe environment for library users of all ages and staff in accordance with our Appropriate Library Use policy. The safety supervisor will work closely with colleagues to create a culture of safety marked by compassion, empathy, and respect. Essential competencies include strong written and oral communication skills, organization, and the ability to prevent and manage disruptive behavior using non-physical methods. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, experience with and knowledge of restorative justice approaches, and the ability to be culturally effective in serving a diverse community. Experience working with people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, adapting easily to change, and bringing a positive attitude to the workplace are also required.
