Librarian, Collection Development and Access (Full Time, Level 9, Exempt):
Provides leadership in the management of library resources and in providing service to the students, faculty, and staff. Facilitates access to resources through implementation of conventional and emerging means; guides decisions regarding special collections held by Jacobs Library; addresses inquiries and situations related to copyright education and compliance; and provides one-on-one and group instruction in the use of traditional and online information sources.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in an ALA accredited Library Science program; proficiency using a variety of online information products and application software and experience with integrated library systems; teaching or training experience; experience serving students and faculty in an academic library; and customer service skills required. Supervisory and cataloging experience with the ability to learn independently and excel in a rapidly changing, team environment preferred.
