Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be friendly, enthusiastic and possess a good work ethic. Although all staff in the Information Services Department work with both adult and children at a combined service desk, we are seeking an individual who has at least 2 years' experience working with children to provide reference assistance, assist in collection development and conduct programming for this position.
Candidate must be available to work a minimum of 1 evening/week and 1 weekend/month. Will also have the opportunity to attend and participate in area continuing education and networking groups. All hours are coordinated with the department manager. All of the library's full time employees receive paid sick and vacation time and holidays.
