The Teen Department is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and well-organized candidate with good communication skills. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: providing Reference and Reader's Advisory assistance; recording statistics and registering teens for the Summer Reading Challenge; registering teens for study rooms and programs; providing instruction with library resources; monitoring the behavior and conduct of teen patrons and assisting with special projects and programming as needed.
Education Qualifications: Some college or LTA or equivalent experience.
Work Experience: Customer service experience and knowledge of standard library procedures, current information technology, Internet and database capabilities. Experience working with teens is preferred. Spanish language skills preferred.
