The Park Ridge Public Library seeks a personable, highly organized individual who is able to provide quality customer service, recruit and oversee a large and diverse group of volunteers, and interact positively with people of all ages and temperaments.
DUTIES include coordinating Library-wide volunteer program; assisting patrons at the Reader Services desk; providing readers' advisory service; and helping with department projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree. Volunteer coordination background and library experience is preferred. Candidate must have familiarity with adult fiction, music, and movies; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines; and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computers and technology is desired.
