Under direction of the Library Director, the Business Manager contributes to the effective operations of the library by managing and coordinating human resources functions and overseeing financial, and business services necessary for ongoing daily operations of the library. The Business Manager collaborates with all library departments, and acts as a valued member of the library's Administrative Team to assist the Library Director in decision-making and strategic planning related to library personnel, resources, and services. The Business Manager reports to the Library Director, and supervises library Volunteers.
Manage and coordinate Human Resources Functions (Personnel files, new staff orientation, background checks, etc.)
Administer library finances, reports, and internal communications. (Manage bank accounts, payable and receivable, prepare and submit state reports, Board Information, etc.)
Manage library volunteers.
