Reaching Forward South - September 20 - 21
The Reaching Forward South Conference for Support Staff will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 20 and 21, 2012. Kick off events begin on Thursday, September 20, at 2:00 p.m., with an author's tea that lasts until 4:30 p.m. Meet various Illinois authors while enjoying tea and cookies as the authors tell you about books, writing, and the author's life. Autographed books will be for sale.
Immediately after the tea join the RFS committee for a glass of wine, chocolate, and cheese. The opportunity to relax and get to know each other is priceless.
Friday begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. during which a continental breakfast is served. Our main speaker is Dan Schneider, speaking on "Fonix of the Future." He is followed by two educational sessions with three choices each.
After lunch, motivational speaker Deb DiSandro presents herself as Dr. Slightly Off and tells us to "Take Two Ho-Ho's and Call Me in the Morning." Our conference wraps up by 2:30 p.m. with some great door prizes.
