Unpaid Summer Intern-Children's Library

If your goal is to become a children's librarian, we can help you prepare for this career. During the summer, we can offer experience working with children and their parents, preparing and presenting programs, and obtaining other library experiences that will help future librarians on their career path towards becoming a Children's Librarian. The intern will work 10+ hours per week between June 2-August 11. Preference given to applicants available Wednesday mornings and Monday afternoons or other days when programs are scheduled. Applicants must be recent MLS graduates or currently enrolled in an MLS program. Experience with children and technology preferred, and Spanish language skills a plus.
