We are looking for a customer service-oriented individual to monitor patron use of the Computer Center at our Main Library and assist patrons as needed. Duties include enforcing the library's computer usage policy in a professional and respectful manner, as well as performing Level 1 (Helpdesk) support for library staff.
Requirements: A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required. Additional formal education or hands-on hardware / software computer experience is preferred. Spanish language skills preferred. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and operating systems is essential. Candidate must have strong customer service skills and ability to manage change effectively. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essentials, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have self-motivation to work individually as well as a member of a team.
