Head of Adult Services Department

Full-time position for

Northlake Public Library District

In addition to regular information services duties and skills, must have 2-4 years working in a professional library position, with increasing responsibilities as a supervisor. MLS from an ALA accredited library school.

A successful candidate will:

Be familiar with literature for adults and teens.

Have knowledge of print and electronic reference resources.

Possess a strong customer service ethic.

Have demonstrated leadership & management skills.

Be able to cope with stressful situations.

Have bilingual abilities (a plus).

$51,000 Salary, IMRF, Insurance & Benefits package

Reports to Library Director, Serves on Management Team
